Trainer
My name is Marcelo Silva, and I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I began my Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2000 as a young practitioner, and by 2013, I transitioned into teaching. Since then, I have dedicated myself to training athletes who have gone on to become champions at the state, national, and world levels in both Jiu-Jitsu and no-gi wrestling.
As a certified referee, I have completed courses with multiple federations and remain actively involved in the refereeing community. I was honored to receive the Best Referee of the Year award from the Brazilian Confederation of No-Gi Luta Livre in 2018, recognizing my commitment and expertise in the field.
Marcelo, our Black Belt practitioner, is committed to ensuring that our Academy offers the best group programs and personalized coaching. His expertise will help create an exceptional experience for all our members. With Marcelo’s guidance, you can look forward to a supportive environment that fosters growth and skill development.
